    Now there’s a great song from a great singer and its really good but she can’t match Wanda Jackson’s original version.

    Interesting

    Fame’s ephemeral perhaps but she was a pioneer and shared the stage with Elvis et al in the 50s – even the Rolling Stones in the late 60s.

    Maybe its because her personal life was conventional despite being a big star in the 50s thru the 70s so the only press she’d get is none apart from the music press.

    Now look what people have to do to get attention cf Lady Gaga whereas this lady did it through talent and personality which was more than enough.

    There’s some sort of moral here but I’m not sure what it is. Shes still alive unlike most of her contemporaries though.
