Justice delayed

October 14, 2013

Eight men are set to stand trial over alleged electoral fraud during the 2010 election.

. . . The police investigation was launched after more than 300 people were removed from the electoral roll leading up to the election due to irregularities.

It was reported that 48 people were living at one address. . .

Three years later they’re finally facing court action.
The alleged fraud was more than three years ago and we’ve just had another election.
There’s got to be a better, and faster, way to deal with electoral irregularities than this when justice delayed could be far too late to change the influence wrong-doing could have on an election result.
