Word of the day

Eschatology – the part of theology concerned with death, judgement, and the final destiny of the soul and of humankind; a branch of theology concerned with the final events in the history of the world or of humankind; belief or a doctrine concerning the ultimate or final things, such as death, the destiny of humanity, the Second Coming, or the Last Judgment; the doctrine of the last thing.

One Response to Word of the day

  1. Andrei says:

That is what Stuff is into big time at the moment – if the Covid don’t get you the Global Warming will and it is all due to Human “sin”.

If you take your jabs and don’t use plastic straws anymore you can be “saved”,/i>

They literally had an article titled “This is how it ends” this morning

It’s a funny thing, religion is inbuilt in human beings and those who firmly reject the existence a higher power, i,e, Atheist’s, rewrite Theist narratives into pseudo scientific forms and are convinced they are being entirely rational but they are as rigid as the most fervent fundamentalist Christian in their belief structures.

On the other hand the Apostle Paul said

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

That is from 1 Corinthians chapter 13 one of the most well known passages in the Bible, I guess

There is definitely an apocalyptic feel about our current times though , we are living through a pivotal moment in human history

Is that why you chose that word?
