Sowell says

  1. Tom Hunter says:

A couple of weeks ago I upbraided you about your reference to an LA Times sob story about the deaths of unvaccinated people, suggesting what bullshit it was and also showing you just some of the similar cut-and-past nonsense from Twitter.

Well, here we are again with a story cut from whole cloth that is intended to drive the narrative of TPTB. The Rolling Stone simply lied through their teeth about a story that hospitals (where many low-sloping forehead Republicans live) were so packed with idiots suffering terrible side-effects from taking Ivermectin to combat Covid-19 symptoms that even gunshot victims were being turned aside: As you stare into the vacuum of their eyes.

But it gets better. With no great surprise to me all the other Usual Suspects in the US MSM – the Lefty ones – jumped all over the story, starting with Rachael Maddow, who is still worshipped by many.

Well of course they did. As I said: The Narrative. You don’t need a conspiracy when you’ve got a hive mind.

Oh, and the story was sourced from a medical doctor, who obviously lied through his teeth at the start and then rode the scam.

  2. This quote looks like a variant on “the broken window fallacy” {Frederic Bastiat’s essay ~that which is seen and that which is not seen} usually applied to economics. Here Sowell is pointing out life saved *here*, ignores the lives lost over there, because of [trying to] save *that one*
