New Zealand has lost its marbles – I’m sorry but it has

If we had a responsible press the mosque shooters manifesto would have been published in full rather than been banned – if we had a press that was doing its job of informing the people they would now be challenging that ban in court.

Here is a piece of deliberate deception picked out from stuff

Radical losers and lone wolves: What drives the alt-right?

I draw your attention to a photograph of Lauren Southern in this agitprop and its caption which reads

“Canadian alt-right provocateur Lauren Southern believes that white civilisation is endangered.

Has the author ever even heard what Lauren Southern has to say?

Almost certainly not – when she came here there were open attempts to prevent her from being heard. She would never be invited onto 7 Sharp, for example, a supposed current affairs program notable only for its shallow banality, to articulate her views.

This is because she an attractive, educated and articulate young woman who challenges the prevailing group think.

She does not use the language of racism, she does suggest that WESTERN civilization is in decline. You know that civilization that gave us differential calculus and antibiotics and all the other scientific advancements that have extended our lifespan and given us the wealth of opportunities we enjoy today. The caption writer has equated editorially Western to White.

On the day of the massacre School children from this country were not in the classroom learning algebra or history or any other of the hard things needed to be grasped in order to make our civiliztion work

No – they were out on the streets with banners and megaphones protesting “climate change”. Because in 21st century New Zealand the way to deal with complex issues is not to put in the hard yards grasping the analytical techniques required to analyse and understanding them that they may be solved

Rather it is to shout, emote and shut down reasoned debate while suppressing data and facts that may be uncomfortable and change the prevailing narrative while demanding that other people fix them

And if there was ever a factoid to support Lauren Southern’s concerns about the future of our civilization it might be in that empty gesture protest which of course was overshadowed by the horrors in Christchurch.

You see in China with a population in excess of over 1 billion souls the children are in their classrooms noses in their books learning calculus because that is their ticket to a better future for themselves and their nation.

Is anyone bold enough to challenge this post? Or to pick out other distortions in the article I linked

Stuff and Nonsense rarely allows comment these days, and when it does allow them “disagreeable” views are proscribed.
I suggest that you are not looking at the real NZ. w
We’ve got all our marbles; we alone will choose when to play them.
    The time draws near.
