Jump while you can Ron

Ron Marks is being accused of using Airforce helicopters as taxis.

Last year he was in the news for the wrong reason for breaking rules for wearing his military medals.

Last year he was rolled as party deputy.

If he jumps from his party now he will be sacked as minister.

But if he doesn’t jump now he’s at risk of being kicked out of parliament altogether when his leader Winston Peters gets his wake-jumping bill passed.

    Why would he jump?

It is hard to see anyone else wanting to be involved with him.

PDM – I think his leader wants to get rid of him. If he jumps now he could stay in parliament, if he doesn’t jump before the waka jumping Bill is passed he could be kicked out.

  4. It seems the media has decided Jacinda’s honeymoon is over. This is the time she needed to prove competency but the opposite is on display. The mistakes that Labour and her ministers are making are now becoming scandals which they weren’t before the sexual assault scandal. Mark Mitchell’s exposé on Ron Mark wouldn’t have been given a look in by the media before this week. It’s about how the media feel about the Govt that counts in this regard. Each journalist either believes Labour is incompetent or they believe Labour covered up sexual assault. Some believe it is both. Neither scenario allows for further honeymooning because neither scenario has yet ended with Kirton being fired. It makes Jacinda seem both weak and indecisive.
