    Gee having baked a tray of shortbread, a date and nut loaf and a batch of peanut Brownies today, helped swmbo with a tomato pasta dish for lunch and had my nap, time is against me in setting some questions and the Lemon slice would, although very appealing, just be evidence of gluttony.

    I note with interest your subject is said in Wiki to have suffered Parkinsons for the last thirteen years of his life. As one with an interest in that affliction I doubt that statement to be accurate IMHO, when diagnosed it can be quite obvious with the benefits hindsight delivers, many of the presentations can be revealed in some cases years before a diagnosis.

    A very interesting chap though and along with our hosts daily “date in History” your questions today are a resource for discovery.
