366 days of gratitude

Oamaru’s Farmers’ Market reflects the seasons, as any outlet selling fresh produce does.

Today Palmerston Asparagus had a stall and I bought two bags from them.

One is in the fridge for tomorrow’s dinner, the other was steamed until it was only just el dente, run under cold water then used on pizza with a tomato base, red and yellow capsicums, red onions and of course cheese.

It was a deliciously simple and simply delicious tea, with some left over for tomorrow’s lunch for which I’m grateful.
