Indeed. Is is courage or hubris that keeps her going? Although I admit I can’t stand the woman, it is hard to watch this. I find I genuinely feel sorry for her, but she can’t seriously contemplate the presidency, surely.

  3. Andrei says:

I felt sorry for her too Will – she look so helpless and vulnerable

But helpless and vulnerable are not qualities for the position she covets.

I’m afraid it is hubris that keeps her going – this Presidential cycle is the most disturbing in my lifetime – major, intractable issues and two candidates who are well past their prime and both with nasty skeletons in their closets

And discussion of the issues is not on either’s agenda

On the contrary Trump is addressing very serious issues such as middle class decline, nationalism, migration, racial inequality and many more.. its just that he’s the wrong man saying it and neither party wants to have a bar of what he’s saying.

But then, the “right” man wouldn’t be addressing these issues and instead following his party’s bland lines.

I had hopes that Cruz would do the job of bringing America back to its Constitution but he’s deeply unpopular with too many people.

  5. Will says:

Yes, I found Cruz’s tax policy interesting. It’s hard to know what to think about their respective personality flaws. Obama seemed wonderful, but look what a disaster he’s been. Practically led America into a race war.
