366 days of gratitude

“It’s so dark outside,” a visiting city friend said. “But look at the stars, we never see them like this at home.”

Although dairying has brought more houses to the country, we still have very little light pollution which enables us to appreciate the night sky in a way you can’t in towns and cities.

The past two nights have been cloudy, but tonight the sky is clear, the moon and stars are shining brightly and I’m grateful for that.

    You should see the night sky at sea on a calm night – or even better the dawn
