Currach –  a coracle; a small round boat made of wickerwork or interwoven laths covered with a waterproof layer of animal skin, canvas, tarred or oiled cloth, or the like, propelled with a paddle; a boat made of waterproof material over a light wood frame, traditionally propelled by means of oars or a sail.
