366 days of gratitude

The Kakanui mountains are usually snow-clad throughout winter.

There was a reasonable fall in early June but mild weather in the following weeks melted most of it.

But in the last few days winter has arrived and with it a good covering of the snow we need to feed rivers and aquifers in spring and for that I’m grateful.
