    2. It was near the Sinai Peninsula during the 6 day war and was attacked by the Israeli Air Force and Navy MTB boats when they mistook it for an Egyptian Naval vessel. An area of Israel was being attacked, believed to be coming from the sea so the Israelis launched a counter attack.
