    Homer

    (1) Caster and Pollux who are the star sign Gemini

    (2) Helen of Troy though she was only half sister to Pollux because Zeus was purportedly his father

    (3) Heracles – Heracles killed a centaur and as he lay dying the centaur told her to save his blood and if smear on Heracles clothes would keep him faithful but when she did it the blood burned him causing such agong he through himself onto a funeral pyre

    (4) Bellerophon tamed Pegasus the flying horse and killed the Chimera

    (5)Pegasus, Perseus who was an ancestor of Heracles as well as being his half brother (such is Greek myth)

    (1) The Ostrogoths

    Singidunum = Beograd or Belgrade which means the White city

    Andautonia and Salona were both in modern Croatia but I don’t think they exist anymore

    Vindobona = Vienna

    Pomore ? Could be in modern Pomerania (Western Poland)? Gdansk?

    Lugdunum = Lyon in France

    1. Rurik was a Varangian chief who formed the Rurikid Dynasty and could be argued became the first Tsar of Russia

    2. He was born in the 800’s and died late in that century

    3. As the Romanovs were part of the lineage I assume the last one was Tsar Nicholas II who was killed with his family in 1917
