Sunday soapbox

Sunday’s soapbox is yours to use as you will – within the bounds of decency and absence of defamation. You’re welcome to look back or forward, discuss issues of the moment, to pontificate, ponder or point us to something of interest, to educate, elucidate or entertain, amuse, bemuse or simply muse, but not abuse.

I seldom read Paul Little’ columns, way too far to the left for me. But it’s sometimes good to read a non political comment as its neutral ground therefore getting some understanding of a columnist, so it wasn’t a complete surprise to find myself agreeing with Paul in today’s Herald. However, if you haven’t already read it, in the last paragraph he goes of topic. Lol best comment so far on the MOU.

“On a brighter note, Labour and the Greens are hooking up. Analogies to a marriage were quickly drawn at this exciting news, and they couldn’t be more apt. It was like when you hear that your cousin who everyone had given up on ever seeing hooked has finally got engaged, and then you find out it’s to the village idiot.”
