366 days of gratitude

We’ve spent a weekend of fun and inspiration with friends.

One highlight was a visit to the Cardrona distillery.

It is a new family business that has already created 10 jobs.

Their passion for, and delight in, what they’re doing can’t be bottled but it was infectious.

Today I’m grateful for that.

Infectious enough to buy a foundation cask?

Mr E, in spite of my tartan genes I’ve never developed a taste for Scotch but I can see the fun of being part of a group that bought a cask and returned for the annual taste test.

Rather partial to a wee dram myself, HP. Visited the distillery last year where we were told of one group that celebrates its “foundation cask” with great enthusiasm – so much so the person showing us around suggested they might just have to put another one away for them so they have something to get at the ten year mark!!
