Andrei posed the questions for which he gets my thanks and should he have stumped us all wins a virtual berry salad.

If Teletext got all the answers again – how do you do it? Your general knowledge astounds me.

    Maya Plisetskaya was the dancer of her age – I saw her dance in the late seventies a modern piece but her most celebrated dance was
    the Dying Swan” from Swan Lake which she was still performing well into her sixties

    (5) What ballets have you seen performed live?

    Too many to innumerate including a Bolshoi Ballet performances of Swan Lake and Spartacus

    My first, when I was very little, was watching my mother in a performance of Le Corsaire which I thought was perfect – there’s a tale to tell….
