Yes – its painless – a bit different because it is designed for Tablets rather than ye olde desktop.
You could of course add a touch screen to your desk top 🙂 and get real 21st century with Windows 10
Of course with all this fancy technology the big corporates
have so much data on you its outright scary
Google accounts, Samsung accounts, Microsoft accounts, Apple accounts and without them you cannot do diddly
My phone is telling them where I am going, what I am buying and it is chattering away to my desktop, tablet, car and TV – I love it and fear it at the same time
And all the passwords with all their security rules…….

I upgraded to 10 because 9 was giving me quite a few problems.
A couple or problems were sorted. However new greater problems exist.
I would say it is more user friendly than windows 8 and 9.
The have returned some of the old menu styles that they used to have. Menus that worked well. Sometimes progress is a funny thing.

I installed it on a laptop that started with XP, and then upgraded to 7. It’s really good and my machine is working faster.
