    I guess the people who can’t move on from the realization that Christchurch Cathedral is not recoverable are futilitarians.

    I wonder how many of them were regular parishioners before the earthquake?

    It could be rebuilt of course if enough people had the will and were prepared to put their money, time and labour into the enterprise but as it is the whole thing has just become a quixotic misuse of the courts
