Sunday soapbox

Sunday’s soapbox is yours to use as you will – within the bounds of decency and absence of defamation. You’re welcome to look back or forward, discuss issues of the moment, to pontificate, ponder or point us to something of interest, to educate, elucidate or entertain, amuse, bemuse or simply muse.

There are few words that never wear out. Which others would you add?

  1. Something to think about:
“Key will be remembered by historians only for the uncovering of his dirty tricks operation by hackers. No, seriously – this event will be covered in political science lectures for decades to come, but nothing else about John Key’s time in power will be worth mentioning. He had an ambition to be PM, he’s fulfilled it, and that’s about it. His current great popularity will be baffling to future generations, to the extent they’re even aware of it.”

    Psycho Milt

  2. TraceyS says:

At least you will be remembered for your garden, Robert.
