Word of the day

Moider – to confuse, perplex, bewilder; to exhaust, overcome, stupefy; throw into disorder or an unsettled state; talk in a rambling or confused manner; bother or pester.

    That’s what I am.

Tonight people are dying because of wretched geopolitical games.

And many more to come, years of bloodshed and tragedy perhaps.

The criminals behind this will dine well today and never be brought to justice.

An anonymous young woman in Kiev sang this – It’s a lament for what is happening

Song is actually called Святая Русь братьям-славянам = Holy Rus Brothers-Slavs

  2. Andrei says:

We all might be at war before the weekend ends 😦

Make no mistake there are people in Washington that want a war with Russia and there are people in Ukraine that want to use NATO to force. Their will on people who don’t agree with them

A very bad combination of circumstance for all sane people

And things are spiralling out of control – rapidly

While we disagree on some things, I share your concern for Ukraine Andrei. The NZ media almost exclusively reports the US line so we are told the issue is only about Russian agression, but it is way more complicated than that. We get hours of analysis of cricket match fixing, but nothing about the Odessa massacre. The cynic in me wonders why the horrible kidnappings in Nigeria were suddenly taken up (weeks late) by the US and what else they are trying to distract the world from.

  4. Andrei says:

Thanks RBG – It tears me apart, what you don’t realize is that many of the things happening a really provocative, actually designed to provoke Russian sentiments

I thought it was cluelessness at first but I am fairly sure that it is deliberate.

what else they are trying to distract the world from.

Maybe that they have lit a major conflagration in Europe that they can’t put out which threatens to spread and engulf us all.

    The parallels are eerie
