I think he would consider himself progressive rather than communist, Andrei. Here he is supporting a campaign against fracking: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gppja2mWTM

Nice extension DK I am sure Pete’s view on fracking has widespread academic and industry backing. Bit like Robyn Malcolm and Anna Pacquin very valid but a tad desperate.

Seeger and many of the illuminati support socialists while setting up a bank a/c in a tax haven.

His Music was a big part of my life, His politics just tarnished that success.

BTW I considered McCarthy a blight on the US but easy to understand how he got the traction he did.

How many brainless numpties with fame from another zone thought Stalins Purges were OK.

The world stands Hitler and his killing machine in total contempt and disgust yet Stalin and Mao each killed more of their fellow citizens they regarded as unworthy or a threat to the party.

Something eerily similar in the socialist responce to the cyber attack on Slaters blog. He needed a comeuppance, I wonder if they would feel any concern if it was Prentice’s echo chamber or The Daily Blog.

Thanks for the Music Pete, RIP.
