All Blacks 47 – Wallabies 29.

Just wondering if Robbie Deans is experiencing schadenfreude and whether Wallabies fans want him back now?

One Response to Schadenfreude

  1. Gravedodger says:

Ewen McKenzie faces the very same constraints Robbie had to confront.
Massive egos, tribalism, weakness in key positions and a pool so shallow that league converts happen as often as flights leave for Bali.

The forward pack was almost credible and imo the new scrum laws assist Aus to compete but the back seven although having some genuine talent in some areas was woeful.
Dont think Genia would have made it had Savea not been the one to get Hooper.

I received some doubting response at Happy Hour a week ago when in the tide of close wins for the Abs I asserted ABs by 13 and over.

“Link” has a big job ahead and he now knows he started less auspiciously than Deans who “won” first up.

Eventually they will have a tream with close to the best in key roles and enough good support to win, so enjoy while it lasts, now the second decade is here and it feels good.
