But just how do we create an environment of personal accountability? Modify behaviour through taxation that also helps pay for the costs of personal choices? Taxing high sugar food and beverages? Placing a tax per unit of alcohol? We desperately need to debate these issues far more intently than we have to date …

Denny – in this case it appears the dead woman and her family thought nothing of her consumption of seven litres of coke a day. Education might have helped more than tax.
