Political tragics get excited about the little things but what really matters to voters are the biggies: the economy, education, health and security.
That shows in the latest Fairfacts Fairfax Media poll: Most people prefer National’s economic plan.
Labour could change it’s leader but unless it changes it’s plan it won’t make much difference.

Fairfacts??

Even more important than changing either it’s leader or it’s plan is for Labour to change it’s attitude. The `we know best’ might have worked for Clark but it has well and truely had it’s day.

No, I wasn’t responsible for the poll.
But glad you were thinking of me , HP 🙂
I travelled across Canada from Vancouver to Quebec City last August and had a great time.
Hope you and your Farmer did.

It didn’t really work for her pdm she just rode the wave it created and no one had the cajones to tell her the truth.
As someone suggested yesterday, the Party was just the vehicle to travel in on her way to world government and clearly the hon Bitch took the fuel card with her. Hence the roadcrash of her party today.

The CGT was never going to be a “game changer” for Labour and I suspect Goff knew that. An extra tax on an already voracious taxation machine would not work without a vision to accompany it (and of course lower rates of income tax.) The reality is Labour do not possess a vision from which anything resembling a plan could be grafted. I see them as leaderless, befuddled and stuck in the “we know best” stance created by Clark and Cullen. In other words, they are despicable.
