Someone didn’t close a tag –
My snow is melting but not gone. My path is sheet ice, Not nice – twice while bringing in wood for the fire I ended up on my butt.
And as the Sun descends I can see we are in for a freeze, the roads will sure be slick tomorrow morning.
Thank goodness it is school holidays

That reads somewhat more picturesque than the reality in the Amuri on Monday watching it build to around Four inches deep while scanning 3500 merino ewes , air temp around 4 degrees.
At one stage The scanner had to use the Hotwater bottle the squires wife had provided him, to thaw the air controls that operated the control gates when they froze.
Was of course reassured it was only climate change, so very easy to accept in conditions like that
