Whats the point of:

* patterned loo paper?

* sticky labels on individual pieces of fruit?

* putting a bunch of bananas in a plastic bag?

* mist-free bathroom mirrors – or do some people really want to look at themselves as they get out of the shower?

* locks on the doors of shops which are open 24/7?

* asking how are you? when you don’t know the person you’re questioning and/or have no interest in the answer?

* so much weather during TV news bulletins?

* reporters doing live broadcasts from the scene where something happened hours before?

    Not much really, Hp.
Other than an opportunity to say Hi to you
this sunny w/e on the Coromandel.
Looking forward to being in ‘Central’ early in March.
Will the autumn colours be any good this year?

Oh! I forgot – great win for the Highlanders – pity it was at the expense of our Hurricanes. Well done the southerners.

The colours are always glorious, Fred and there’s already an autumnal feel in the mornings – sigh.

I’m doing my best not to gloat about the Highlands. One win does not a season make. It’s far too early to get cocky but just between you and me, it’s great to start with a win.

1 The suduko has merit but need a pencil and a lot more time.
2 Creates litter and a work opp and they stick to anything.
3 About as futile as putting 120 polies in the beehive.
4 Does help with shaving and I guess hair control for those with hair, after a shower.
    5 For Anzac morning.
6 The total inanity that replaces the art of conversation.
7 I guess with the quality of journalists these days the weather is the sure fire filler. They call the main bulletin an “hour of News”, try the old stopwatch some times. Gave Rudd Kleinpast the ruler last Saturday and the advertised hour of the garden show actually involved 29 minutes of caller involvement.
9 It is all about “infotainment” and “ratings”, they are very rarely ordinary old men apart from a certain “political correspondent. My most infuriating trigger after the desecration of the language, on the rare occasions I feel an urge to watch.

    Obviously I don’t get out much,LOL
