John Key on wanting to enjoy Tiger Woods ‘side-servings’ Ele?
    Eeeewwwwwww!
We have to hope Key’s not an ideopraxist.
    Mysogonist perhaps?

  2. pdm says:

Atually RG I think John Key is just an ordinary male who speaks the truth. After all he thinks Liz urley is hot – so do I.

  3. adam2314 says:

    Hmmmmm.. Understand JK’s thoughts..

Yup !!.. Even at my age.. Hurley is ” HOT “.

Willing to let her place her slippers under my bed.

  4. adam2314 says:

FFS.. He is a man isn’t he ??

  5. adam2314 says:

What a breath of change from the PC CRAP !!.. that has been going on for to long ..

  6. robertguyton says:

That’s got you lads all heated up I see!
    Nothing from Ele though.
The issue isn’t that Key might find Hurley ‘hot’ – who cares.
It’s that he was engaging in blokey ‘banter’, on air, with a leech who has been convicted of kicking a woman sufficient to damage her vertebrae, and was stupid enough to indicate that he would like to enjoy the ‘extras’ that Tiger Woods helped himself to – that is, numerous extra-marital affairs and indulgences.
Now I don’t know about you, but I think that the Prime Minister of New Zealand would be wise to avoid associating himself too closely with a man who has been charged with violence against a woman and with another who has been revealed as a serial wife cheater. Key’s comments were, in my opinion, not those of a respectable leader of a country. More those of a narsistic fool.
It’s not a matter of him ‘being a man’ Adam. He’s the PM. He should have more discetion. A breath of change from pc crap? Ask Keys wife and daughter what they think.
Or don’t they figure in this?

The other day robert you suggested David Farrer and I ( embarrassing to be mentioned in same quote) were getting desperate about something. Not sure why that comes to mind but no doubt you will enlighten me.
BTW I think Liz Hurley and most of the others JK mentioned are hot and I am sure if I was not thinkong along those lines, Mrs GD would be worried.
BTW2 Ms Kedgley was a bit hot in 1965, just ask Tim, but it is a bit of a stretch now she has forgotten where she parked her broomstick.
Was she motivated by the Green getting in her eyes.

GD – while we wait for a response from Ele (It will be great to hear from a wonam on this issue) perhaps you could tell me whether you think it was wise for Prime Minister Key to:
    – chit-chat in public about whether this woman or that woman was ‘hot’ with a convicted abuser of woman,
    – say aloud that he too would like to enjoy the ‘fringe benefits’ that Tiger Woods previously enjoyed (you do know what those were GD – the infidelities, sexual excessiveness etc.)
    Simple stuff really.
Looking forward to your (and Ele’s) responses.

  9. homepaddock says:

You’ll be disappointed in my response Robert. I’ve told you before I’m not impressed with thread jacks which your very tenuous link to this word of the day is.

If you want to start topics do it at your place.

I read a great deal into your refusal to address the issue of Key’s mysogynist behaviour Ele.
It is dissapointing that a woman who posts so often on the things ‘John’ says and does, won’t discuss a question from one of your regular (and polite) readers.

  11. gravedodger says:

At the risk of feeding a troll and incurring the deserved wrath of our host I respectfully suggest that you, robert look up the meaning of ‘reader’ anywhere you like then look up Troll at wikipedia, urban dictionary or any other reference where the relativity of the internet is current.
As to your Link to NRT (who does not allow ANY feedback) that makes a molehill into a Mountain of shocking journalistic licence.
I know Ele can speak for herself and did so, but you chose to ignore her valid request.
This is from someone who just enjoys the connection between current National thinking with the base, of successful rural philosophy and practice that gives the Homepaddock Blog its relevance to its many fans.
Your carping abuse of hospitality is about as relevant here as phillip ure is at kiwiblog. If your respect for our host is as shallow as your 1.37 comment I would suggest you do as HP says and take it back to your blog and let it lie there.

Sorry, Ele in advance. Sometimes his bone chewing is as attractive as kuri tutae on my sneaker when the heater is on but this performance is beyond the pale.

  12. robertguyton says:

It’s tutae kuri GD and I reject your criticism entirely.
I made no comment at 1.37 and am therefore puzzled that you might find ‘it’ shallow.
It greatly puzzles me also, that the question of Key’s comments on Veitch’s show cause such angst here.
Ele regularly quotes Key and comments on his utterences. But not in this instance. Key’s comments about Tiger Wood’s behaviour are relevant to woman and Ele is not a bloke.
I’m reminded of Goff’s reaction when being asked about his hair colouring. Sometimes it’s better to address the question when it is asked, rather than creating a greater interest and a reason for people to suspect your motives.

  13. homepaddock says:

    A link or a comment – it’s a difference without distinction.

You’re the only one who’s vexed. The others who have left a comment have not been vexed and I have been very careful to give absolutely no sign of my views.

Although I often quote and comment on what John says I also often don’t.

When I do quote or comment sometimes I do it asap and sometimes I wait.

Whatever I do or don’t do depends on sufficient time and inclination, neither of which I had before you jumped in with your thread-jack. In fact I think your comment was the first I knew of the matter.

I have asked you several times to stop thread jacking but I have sometimes risen to your bait and responded to what you’re saying anyway.

That’s sent a mixed message and encouraged you to try again which is why I am not making any comment on the issue.
