6/10 – Pretty damned good for an Aussie blow in only been here 8 years, and oddly enough, no NZ history was taught in my school – Australian, American, British, Modern European, but no NZ except as incidental to the above.

LRO – school history for me was mostly British & European too.
A friend who is a teacher tells me the 60s are now part of the school history curriculum – makes me feel old 🙂

5/10 for me.
When I was at school History was on a world basis not local and teachers did not try to influence political leaninings or go on strike or hold `teacher only’ days.
