. . . to a friend’s 50th birthday party in New York today.
We were tempted but sometimes life gets in the way of temptation and this was one of those times.
It’s -1 degrees here and forecast to be in the 30s there.
Sigh.

I now how it feels HP, normally I skip winter for a month or so and go back to the low lands to catch up with family and friends, except this year and the mercury is in the low 30’s over there at the moment…and not to mention the feverish conditions caused by the boys in orange their succesful run in the world cup so far….
got all these txt’s from family to tell me how they enjoy a bbq and sipping a good glass of white….followed by…wish you were here…ya right!

You turned down the chance to be in New York on the 4th of July????? Sheesh, I’m not sure that I would have had the strength to resist that temptation …

I2 – sadly other things to do and places to go.
Fred – I was backing Argentina, and given I need an emotional reason to support a team I’ve run out of favourites.
