2 Either the late George Burns, or my old London rugby mate, the late Dean Paddy…. he was a dentist.
3 The Kawerau and the Clutha… it flows over where I picked apricots for Hunter Denniston when I was a student…
    4 Maurice ‘Biker-Boy’ Williamson
5 The noise a petulant child makes, upon being told that McDonalds is off the menu for the next two weeks….
Cheers from Auckland Anniversary Day up at sunny Mangawhai where we have had our first rain since early December!! Wahoo…. showers all round tonight!

1 Equador, Peru, Columbia, Brazil, Guyana, Suriname and Fr Guiana.
    2 pass.
3 Kawara and Clutha. Remember standing above the confluence of these two majestic waters and watching a small piece of flax stick (my boyhood boat making material) trapped in the eddy under my feet in the early 50’s.
    4 Hon M. Williamson.
5 Skien Dhu as I would pronounce it is a dirk worn in the stocking of Highland dress. Had one in a previous life as a scottish country dancer. Retired now but Mrs GD still indulges on a weekly basis here in paradise.
