Those were the good old days?

This episode of I Love Lucy  was considered pretty forward when it screened 57 years ago today.

It shows attitudes to pregnancy, birth and women which suggest that those weren’t necessarily the good old days.

If you think Dennis Hopper divorcing his fifth wife from his death bed marks some sort of improvement well go for it.

Andrei, I don’t think that is an improvement but I do think attitudes to pregnancy are better than they were 50+ years ago.

Sorry I didn’t mean to mess up your post about a comedienne – a button got pushed.

Its funny now but it wasn’t at the time
