Just wondering

The grapes come in a plastic bag with holes so the fruit can breathe.

The bag also has a zip lock.

Just wondering why you would bother with a zip to seal a bag which is full of holes.

    To stop them falling out?

Paul, there must be easier and cheaper ways to keep them from falling out.

And I forgot to say that on the bag was written: zip locked for freshness. I can’t work out how sealing the top helps freshness, especially when the bag has holes.

I am totally teed off with “skippy” for removing the zip lock and forcing me to buy a fancy plastic container to keep them fresh as Mrs GD does not often indulge in skippy’s. The marketing pricks offered a removable sticker to seal the bag as an alternative which after 2 or 3 reseals failed and they became soggy. Is there anything worse as a culinary offering than a plate of soggy cornflakes, I don’t think so. The new regime may serve a hoard of locusts who will deliver a total demolition of a pack of skippy in one sitting but it can take me weeks.
Desert grapes on the other hand will not be in danger of spoiling as they will be put down without due process, the ziplock is redundant at purchase.
