Went to a live show of ‘Hair’ in the seventies after a steak dinner at the ‘Angus’ in a large group for our moral safety. It was at the Theater Royal and it was so risque. The most awsome thing about it for me was how the cast, with very little protection from the elements back stage at what was regarded as one of the draftiest venues in N Z, were able to deliver. It was a great night but I didn’t attempt to discuss our attendance with my Mum who I realised in later years would have probably have enjoyed it also.
