Scheduling shame

Q&A won the award for best current affairs series at last night’s Qantas Awards.

It’s a pity that it screens at 9 o’clock on Sunday mornings.

It doesn’t have a lot of competition. But if it’s the best current affairs programme in the country, TVNZ should schedule it at a time when it would be more convenient for more people to watch it.

Agreed HP particularly after watchings Dingo’s Wallabies make the mighty Boks look ordinary till midnight and I do miss Inventory”‘s Blogg for its amateur hour sports talk. If Q & A is the best available then it should be scheduled at a better time. BTW do TV one run it as a repeat on 6 or 7 on Sky does any one know.

It’s about time TV1 and TV3 performed some public service by doing some hard investigation and interviews.
Holmes is not a good interviewer. He is soft and simply lacks the political feel that older bloggers will remember from Simon Walker,David Excel and Brian Edwards.
I remember when Muldoon was rampant that he claimed the Gallery TV current affairs show was the main opposition to the government.
We have talkback today but top political interviews would provide accurate information.

Holmes has reached his use -by date a long time ago.He is usually on an massive ego trip-too emot ional-t fawning to pooeople he favours ,he has been on the gravy train long enough
