June 7 in history – Gandhi, Gauguin, Dean Martin

On June 7, 1846, impressionist painter Eugéne Henri Paul Gauguin was born in Paris.

On this day in 1893  Mohandas Gandhi undertook his first act of civil disobedience.

Dean Martin was born in Steubenville, Ohio.

    I couldn’t resist my curiosity and had to wiki “7 june” and I was most curios about the courtcase Griswold v. Connecticut…
    Without starting a debate about the pro’s and con’s of this case we can say that a lot have changed in our social history in just a mere 45 years.
