They didn’t ask me

A Department of Internal Affairs survey shows 82% of the general public support the extension to daylight saving but only 54% of dairy farmers do.

It would be interesting to know if the approval was stronger in the north than the south.

    Good questions.

Remember the extension to DST was put in place as a result of a poll of 40,000 odd people, found to be in favour.

Compare that with Larry Baldock’s recent referendum request, 390,000 signatories, deferred by Dear Leader until 2009.

Democracy? Will of the people? Pah!

The cow farmers could stop moaning and do what they should have done light years ago. Install automatic milkers.
They have been played with for years but you just can’t motivate yourselves.
Old saying” if you do what you have always done you will get what you’ve always got(had.)
Lots of cow cockies have known for years that cows don’t like being milked early in the morning. You and the tankers just can’t get your heads around it.
Spend some money with the engineers guys. and sleep soundly in the mornings. AHHH bliss.

    Bullshit.

The dairy farm I grew up on, we often left the gates open overnight and the jerseys would wander down and be waiting at the gate in the morning.

I find it hard to believe 54% of Dairy Farmers favour daylight saving.
