Feeling time

“Another new month and I really don’t know where the last one went,” he said.

“Hmm, when my parents used to say that I didn’t get what they meant,” she said.

“But now I’ve worked out the increasing speed of time isn’t something you understand so much as feel.”

    The ever accelerating speed that time appears to pass by was explained with logic by an old sage to me some years ago.

    At 5 years old a year is one 5th or 20% of life lived.. or more accurately around 50/60% of cognitive life
    At 50 it is 1/50th or 2%, at 70, 1 month is little more than 0.1%.

    And it just gets worserer.
