I love music and I’m gonna do two Can you name this instrument
(1) What is this instrument called?
And the second, a lady Gaga song played on?
The first is a dulcimer (no damsel sadly) and the second is a bandura or something like. Ukranian I think. Lovely music.
You have it of course – the first is the slightly misnamed Appalachian Dulcimer (dulcimers are usually played by hitting the strings with a hammer) and the second a bandura.
Of course Lady Gaga’s music does not really do the instrument or its player justice – same boy much better song shchedrik (or carol of the bells as its English version is more usually known), is far more appropriate compositionally and a keeper
