Another whoops, Brian Jones didn’t do that song, I think he was still officially with the band when it was recorded but he was on the outer.
He was kicked out and died soon after.
He was of course the original inspirer of the group but he didn’t match the image the managers wanted for the group and all that took its toll on him I guess.
If I may this is the Band with Brain Jones showing his stuff
To add to that Brian Jones plays the Appalachian dulcimer on the first song and the Indian Sitar on the second.
And Keef is playing a Gibson Hummingbird, same as I had. I bought it after a season / uni hols at the Moerewa works… pride and joy. Took it to London, took it overland from London to Singapore, and on the Whitbread, where it went round Cape Horn. Back to live in NZ: 6 weeks later the house is broken into and it was nicked… never saw it again. A great acoustic guitar. Also Stripped is well ahead of its time live acoustic set by the great band.
