My farmer and I are away for a sunshine fix which may result in posts at odd times and a reduction in posting.
It was trying to snow at home yesterday.
We’re expecting it to be a little warmer where we’re going: a night in Singapore, two in Barcelona then back to Vejer de la Frontera where we spent three months in 2005 before meeting friends for a walking tour which starts in Milan and finishes in Verona.

I’m jealous, I love Italy.
Have fun. Mid winter holidays are a must, in my book.

Have a great trip, and that was an interesting walk in 2005. A few of us traversed the Himalayas last year… those long walks are good for the sole, eh, soul. You should spend an extra day going to check out those dates in Spain! ( I found out about that date grove but discarded it as an answer as it was obviously too far north!!!)

Spain is having it very hot at the moment.
Fortunately, you are young enough not to need too much extra water and have to stay indoors.
And I guess the Spanish are not as nannying as the Brits and are more used to hot weather.
Enjoy your stay.
Thanks, Rob, Kismet & FM.
Paul – not sure if it’s date season, but we did visit Elche three years ago. Sorry for putting you astray with the question.
